I love the design of each character. They each give a broad but individual personality. The use of each elemental theme in the designs are creatively and cleverly implemented. The line work goes a long way in giving the impression of texture, especially when comparing the stone figure to the plant and smoke characters.
Color Choice-
The color choices here are beautiful. While not the most complex color scheme, the colors themselves are very well placed and go a long way in delivering a strong feel of what each character is about. The subtle texture on top of the cell shading is a great choice and really helps sell these as a polished product.
Presentation-
The texture and halftone background really helps pop the characters forward while making the over all piece interesting. The black bars on top and bottom give it a cinematic feel while the over-lap of the logo and smoke-like character frees it of what could have been a confined feeling.
Overall-
This piece is excited, well detailed and quite polished. Obvious skill was involved and while it may not be something seen a fine arts gallery, it serves it purpose brilliantly.
